Where can i find the cheque number

You can find the cheque number in two main locations on a cheque leaf:

• Bottom Left Corner: It is the first set of six digits in the series of numbers printed at the bottom. These digits are printed using Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) technology and precede the 9-digit MICR code.
• Top Right Corner: Many banks also print the cheque number in the upper right-hand corner for easy visibility.

This unique 6-digit identifier helps track your transactions and can also be found on your cheque book stub or bank statement.
