How to find micr code on cheque

You can find the MICR code on a cheque by looking at the bottom white strip, where it is printed using special magnetic ink. It is a nine-digit number located immediately to the right of the cheque number. Additionally, you can find this code:

• On the first page of your bank savings account passbook.
• Printed on your monthly bank statements.
• By searching for your specific branch details on your bank's official website or mobile banking application.
