To open a bank account in India, you must provide valid KYC (Know Your Customer) documents. The essential requirements typically include:
  • Identity Proof: Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, or Passport.
  • Address Proof: Aadhaar card, utility bills (electricity or gas), or a valid driving license.
  • Recent passport-sized photographs.
A PAN card is generally mandatory; however, if you do not have one, you can submit Form 60. Some banks may also require a minimum initial deposit to activate the account.
