How to update bank account number in epfo

To update your bank account number in EPFO, follow these steps on the Unified Member Portal:
  • Log in to the EPFO Member Portal using your UAN and password.
  • Navigate to the Manage tab and select the KYC option from the dropdown menu.
  • Select Bank, then enter your new account number and IFSC code.
  • Click on Verify IFSC to validate the bank details, then click Save.
  • Authenticate the request using the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Once submitted, the bank and your employer must approve the details before they are updated in your EPFO profile.
