How to transfer bank account

To transfer your bank account to another branch, you need to submit a formal request to your bank. Most major Indian banks allow this process through net banking, mobile apps, or by visiting the branch in person.

• Log in to your bank's official website or mobile application.
• Navigate to the services or account settings section and select the option for account transfer.
• Provide the IFSC code or the name of the new branch where you wish to move your account.
• Verify the details and complete the request using an OTP.

If the online facility is unavailable, you can submit a written application at your current home branch. Once processed, your account number remains the same, though your home branch and IFSC code will change.
