How to make self cheque

To make a self cheque, write the word SELF in the space provided for the account holder's name. This allows you to withdraw cash directly from your own bank account at the home branch. Follow these steps to ensure the cheque is valid:
  • Write the amount in words in the Rupees line, ending it with the word only.
  • Enter the numerical amount in the box provided, followed by the /- symbol.
  • Mention the current date in the DD/MM/YYYY format in the top right corner.
  • Sign the cheque at the bottom right, above your printed name, ensuring it matches your bank records.
