How to get a cancelled cheque

To get a cancelled cheque, you simply need to take a fresh, unused leaf from your chequebook and mark it as void. Follow these steps:

• Take a new cheque leaf that hasn't been signed or filled out.
• Draw two parallel diagonal lines across the face of the cheque using a pen.
• Clearly write the word CANCELLED in capital letters between these two lines.
• Ensure essential details like your account number, name, IFSC, and MICR code remain visible.
• Do not sign the cheque or fill in any other details like the amount or date.
