How to generate evc through bank account

To generate an Electronic Verification Code (EVC) through your bank account for income tax filing, follow these steps:

• Log in to the official Income Tax e-Filing portal.
• Navigate to the Services tab and select Generate EVC.
• Select the bank account for which you have already completed pre-validation and enabled EVC.
• Click on Continue. A 10-digit alphanumeric EVC will be sent to your mobile number and email ID registered with your bank.
• Use this code on the e-Verify page to complete the verification of your tax return or form.
