Need a receipt for your UPI transaction? Paytm makes it easy to view, download, and share transaction receipts for your records or as payment proof.

Steps to Get UPI Transaction Receipt

Method 1: From Transaction Success Screen

Immediately after a successful payment:

  1. On the payment success screen, tap 'Share' or 'Download Receipt'.
  2. Choose to save as PDF or share via WhatsApp, Email, etc.

Method 2: From Transaction History

For past transactions:

  1. Open the Paytm App.
  2. Go to 'Passbook' or 'Balance & History'.
  3. Find and tap on the transaction you need a receipt for.
  4. On the transaction details page, tap 'Download Receipt' or 'Share'.
  5. The receipt will be downloaded as a PDF or can be shared directly.

What's Included in the Receipt

A Paytm UPI receipt typically includes:

  • Transaction ID: Unique Paytm transaction identifier.
  • UPI Reference Number: Bank reference for the transaction.
  • Date & Time: When the transaction was completed.
  • Amount: Transaction amount.
  • Sender Details: Your UPI ID/Account.
  • Receiver Details: Recipient's UPI ID or account information.
  • Status: Confirmation that payment was successful.

Sharing Receipt as Proof of Payment

  1. Open the transaction in your history.
  2. Tap 'Share'.
  3. Choose the app (WhatsApp, Email, SMS, etc.).
  4. Send to the merchant or recipient as payment confirmation.

Tips

  • Save Important Receipts: Download receipts for high-value transactions.
  • Screenshot Backup: Take a screenshot of the success screen as immediate backup.
  • Email Backup: Paytm also sends transaction confirmations to your registered email.
