Need a receipt for your UPI transaction? Paytm makes it easy to view, download, and share transaction receipts for your records or as payment proof.
Steps to Get UPI Transaction Receipt
Method 1: From Transaction Success Screen
Immediately after a successful payment:
- On the payment success screen, tap 'Share' or 'Download Receipt'.
- Choose to save as PDF or share via WhatsApp, Email, etc.
Method 2: From Transaction History
For past transactions:
- Open the Paytm App.
- Go to 'Passbook' or 'Balance & History'.
- Find and tap on the transaction you need a receipt for.
- On the transaction details page, tap 'Download Receipt' or 'Share'.
- The receipt will be downloaded as a PDF or can be shared directly.
What's Included in the Receipt
A Paytm UPI receipt typically includes:
- Transaction ID: Unique Paytm transaction identifier.
- UPI Reference Number: Bank reference for the transaction.
- Date & Time: When the transaction was completed.
- Amount: Transaction amount.
- Sender Details: Your UPI ID/Account.
- Receiver Details: Recipient's UPI ID or account information.
- Status: Confirmation that payment was successful.
Sharing Receipt as Proof of Payment
- Open the transaction in your history.
- Tap 'Share'.
- Choose the app (WhatsApp, Email, SMS, etc.).
- Send to the merchant or recipient as payment confirmation.
Tips
- Save Important Receipts: Download receipts for high-value transactions.
- Screenshot Backup: Take a screenshot of the success screen as immediate backup.
- Email Backup: Paytm also sends transaction confirmations to your registered email.
