Need a receipt for your UPI payment? Paytm allows you to view complete transaction details, download payment information, and share it as proof of payment whenever required.

Steps to Get UPI Transaction Receipt on Paytm

After completing a UPI payment, you can quickly access the payment details from the success screen.

  1. Once the payment is successful, tap on the 'Share' option or the three dots (⋮) on the payment confirmation screen.
  2. Tap on 'View Payment Details' to check complete transaction information, including who received the payment and the payment time.
  3. For more detailed information, open the Paytm App and go to 'Balance & History'.
  4. Select the UPI transaction you want to view.
  5. The transaction details page will show information such as the payee UPI ID, UPI Reference Number, payment time, payment method (bank account, UPI Lite, UPI, etc.), and payment location.

If you face any issue with the payment, you can tap on 'Help' from the transaction details page to raise your concern.

Details Available on a Paytm UPI Receipt

A UPI transaction receipt generally includes:

  • Transaction ID: Unique identifier used to track the payment.
  • UPI Reference Number: Bank-generated reference number for transaction verification.
  • Date & Time: Shows when the payment was completed.
  • Amount: Displays the total amount paid or received.
  • Sender Details: Your UPI ID or linked account details.
  • Receiver Details: Recipient's UPI ID or account information.
  • Payment Method: Shows the mode used for payment, such as UPI, UPI Lite, or bank account.
  • Payment Status: Confirms whether the transaction was successful.

How to Share UPI Receipt as Payment Proof on Paytm

  1. Open the Paytm App and go to 'Balance & History'.
  2. Select the UPI transaction for which you want to share the receipt.
  3. Open the transaction details page and tap on 'Share'.
  4. Choose the app where you want to share the receipt, such as WhatsApp, Email, or SMS.
  5. Send the receipt to the required person as payment proof.

  • Save important transaction details for future reference.
  • Keep payment receipts handy for high-value transactions or verification purposes.
  • Use the transaction details page to raise an issue if there is any payment-related concern.
