Resetting Your Password via a Phone Call

This is a quick and easy method to reset your password if you have your registered mobile number handy.

  • Step 1: Call either 0120–4888–488 or 0120-4456-456 from your Paytm-registered mobile number.
  • Step 2: You will be prompted to choose your preferred language. After selecting the language, press 1 to proceed with the password reset.
  • Step 3: The call will disconnect, and you will receive a password reset link via SMS to your registered mobile number and on your linked email ID.
  • Step 4: Click the link you received, which is valid for 10 minutes. You'll be taken to a page to create and confirm your new password. Ensure it's at least 5 characters long and includes both a number and a letter.

Things to Know:

  • The password reset link is time-sensitive and expires in 10 minutes.
  • You can reset your password either by calling from your registered number or through the Paytm app/website.
  • Paytm will never call to ask for your password or OTP; keep your account details private.
