Synopsis

With the Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix in the lead, the movie revolves around a guy, former FBI agent and traumatized war veteran who tracks down missing girls as a livelihood. The film takes a drastic turn when a new project goes out of control, having him to face the wrath of the traumas of his past. Interestingly, an unfinished version of the film premiered at Cannes Film Festival and sweeped away awards for Best Actor and Best Screenplay. Notably, the movie is based on the novella of the same name by Jonathan Ames.
