Synopsis

Based on the novel The Wife by Meg Wolitzer, this drama film follows the journey of a woman who begins questioning her life choices as she grows old. Things take a more intense turn as she joins her husband on his way to receive the Nobel prize in Literature. The film has received widespread critical acclaim and several honours already. While Glenn Close has won the Golden Globe for her titular performance, she has also received nominations for the BAFTA and the Academy Awards 2019.
