Synopsis

Based on a novel by the same by JM Ledgard, Submergence is a romantic thriller. Revolving around the two lovers who have been separated by the circumstances beyond their control. Their lives are running in different parts of the world simultaneously. While one has been held captive by the jihadists on the east coast of Africa, the other prepares to dive into the submersible to the ocean floor in the Greenland Sea. The film stars the Oscar winner Alicia Vikander along with James Mcavoy in the lead.
