Synopsis

The plot follows the struggles of a village facing a drought-like situation. The villagers perform a ritual to appease the gods which results in heavy showers. Krishna decides to play Abhimanyu's character in a mythological play. When he meets a girl from Mumbai and falls in love with her, it upsets Padma.
