Synopsis

Dominika Egorova, a prima ballerina, faces the end of her career after a life-changing injury. Desperate to add meaning to her life, she is manipulated into joining Sparrow School, a perverse and sadistic training institute that trains exceptional young people for Russian Intelligence. Egorova beats all odds to emerge as one of the most dangerous “sparrows” but an encounter with an American CIA agent is about to turn everything upside down. The movie is an adaptation of the 2013 novel Red Sparrow by Jason Matthews, a former CIA operative.
