Synopsis

Omerta is a drama film based on the 1994 kidnappings of Western tourists in Delhi by the British terrorist Omar Sheikh. It also chronicles Omar’s arrest, his time in Indian prison and his schemes of murdering Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002. The film is directed by Hansal Mehta, known for exploring hard-hitting subjects in his movies. Critically acclaimed actor Rajkumar Rao plays the role of Omar.
