Synopsis

A romantic musical comedy, it is a sequel to the 2008 release Mamma Mia!. The character of Donna (Sophie’s mother) which was immortalised by the Academy Award winner Meryl Streep in the earlier edition is seen as her younger self, the role essayed by Lily James. It all began with Sophie’s (Amanda Seyfried) pregnancy and how she seeks guidance in her mother’s past. Will it be a journey worth taking or are some secrets best hidden? To add to iconic star cast, the Goddess of Pop music, Cher portrays the role of Sophie’s grandmother.
