This animated film paints a dystopian future of Japan where a dog-flu virus is spreading rapidly. As a result, all the dogs are banished to an island far away from human habitation. Things get really entertaining when one of the dog parents visits the island in search of his pet. Loaded with elements of friendship, loyalty and love, the film also delves into the idea of “desperate times call for desperate measures.”
