Synopsis

This comedy-drama takes you on a tour of the Southern United States during the 1960s. It chronicles the life of Jamaican classical pianist Don Shirley and his relationship with the New York bouncer Tony Vallelonga. The film is named for The Negro Motorist Green Book, a segregation-era road travel guidebook.
