Synopsis

Pandi, a folk dancer from Madurai, travels with his troupe to nearby towns, performing traditional dances. His uncle, Dharmalingam, works as a broker, arranging performers for various shows. When Dhanam, a young woman from the same town, expresses her interest in joining Pandi’s troupe, Dharmalingam strongly opposes it. This sparks a conflict between Pandi and his uncle. What is Dhanam’s story, and why is Dharmalingam against her dancing?
