When twelve-year-old Roman Griffin Davis was auditioning for Jojo Rabbit he thought the movie had something to do with Peter Rabbit. However, in his debut film, he plays a young boy who is a member of Hitler Youth and whose imaginary friend is Hitler himself. A Franco-British child actor, Davis comes from a family rooted in films. His parents are cinematographer Ben Davis and writer-director Camille Griffin.
