Synopsis

Set in the 1920s, Tumbbad delves back into the ancient concepts of the supernatural. Revolving around a decaying old castle in a village, the film presents a unique blend of mystery, horror and folklore. On one hand, there are generations battling greed and lust and on the other, a lost treasure being guarded by an unknown entity. The film is also seeped in strange symbology rooted in the forgotten and unique myths of India.
