Synopsis

Set in a small town in North India, Batti Gul Meter Chalu is a drama revolving around the issue of electricity theft. With a realistic plot, this is the first feature film to highlight this issue which has been a cause of concern in many parts of rural India. The plot includes strong emotions and sets an inspiring example of true friendship while drawing attention to real- world problems that usually go unreported.
