Synopsis

The story follows Asoka during his time in exile, where he meets and falls in love with a rebellious princess. After reclaiming his empire, Asoka wages a significant war, only to face a devastating loss when the princess, fighting for the opposing side, is killed. Overcome with guilt and sorrow, Asoka seeks redemption by embracing Buddhism, dedicating his life to spreading peace and non-violence.
