Synopsis

The story follows Malar, a young village girl still in her teenage years, who has yet to reach puberty. Her life takes a turn when her stepsister, Kayal, matures and receives a marriage proposal. However, their stepmother, Gomathi, insists that Kayal's wedding can only happen after Malar is married. As the village festival unfolds, Malar and Elango fall in love. The question remains: will Malar come of age and be ready for marriage?
