how to apply duplicate voter id
To apply for a duplicate Voter ID card (EPIC), you can use either the online or offline procedure by submitting the relevant form.
- Online: Apply through the National Voter Service Portal (NVSP) or the Voters' Service Portal by filling out Form 8 (Application for replacement of EPIC).
- Offline: Obtain and submit Form EPIC-002 or Form 8 at your nearest Electoral Registration Office (ERO).
- In case of theft or loss, a copy of the registered FIR or police complaint is a mandatory document to be submitted along with proof of identity and address.
