Which RBI governor launched UPI?

Raghuram Rajan, the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), launched the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) on April 11, 2016. UPI was developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). It enables instant real-time payment through mobile platforms. Paytm was one of the early adopters of this system, which significantly contributed to the growth of digital transactions in the country.
