Over 300 banks in India are linked to the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), a system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Major public sector banks like State Bank of India (SBI) and Punjab National Bank (PNB) are fully integrated. Other banks linked to the network include HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, and ICICI Bank. Almost all Indian banks now support UPI transactions.
