When did RBI increase the UPI transaction limit for hospitals

The RBI increased the UPI transaction limit for hospitals and educational institutions from ₹1 lakh to ₹5 lakh per transaction on December 8, 2023. NPCI implemented this change in January 2024. Currently, the confirmed limit remains ₹5 lakh for these categories.
