What is the UPI limit for financial transactions?

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) generally sets the UPI daily transaction limit at ₹1,00,000 for standard transactions, including Person-to-Person (P2P) and Person-to-Merchant (P2M) payments. However, higher limits apply to specific categories. For capital markets, insurance, and collections, the limit is ₹2,00,000 per transaction. For Initial Public Offering (IPO) applications and certain government payments, the limit is ₹5,00,000 per transaction.
