What is the process for a new user to make a UPI ID

Making a UPI ID is super easy! It's like getting a special address for your money. Here's how you do it with the Paytm app:\n

• Download the Paytm app on your phone.
• Enter your mobile number. The app will send an SMS to check if it's really you.
• Once verified, choose your bank from the list.
• Your bank account details will show up. If it's your first time, you'll set up a UPI PIN using your debit card.

And that's it! Your bank account is now linked, and you have your UPI ID, ready to send and receive money!
