What is the new UPI limit?

The general UPI daily transaction limit, as regulated by NPCI, is ₹1 lakh. However, transaction limits are enhanced for specific categories. For instance, payments to educational institutions, hospitals, Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), and RBI Retail Direct schemes can have a transaction limit of up to ₹5 lakh. Other special transactions like capital markets and insurance have a limit of up to ₹2 lakh.
