What is the latest UPI news regarding transaction limits

The general daily UPI transaction limit is ₹1 lakh per day, as defined by NPCI. However, higher limits are applicable for select categories. The limit is ₹2 lakh for capital markets and insurance. For tax payments, payments to educational institutions, hospitals, IPOs, and RBI retail direct schemes, the limit is ₹5 lakh.
