What are my rights when disputing a payment?

When disputing a credit card charge, you have the right to withhold payment on the disputed amount, as well as any related finance charges, while your card issuer investigates the complaint. However, you are still responsible for paying any undisputed part of the bill, including finance charges on that undisputed amount.
