Is there any problem if we share an UPI ID?

Sharing your UPI ID is generally safe for receiving money because the ID alone cannot be used to withdraw funds from your account. The core security feature is your UPI PIN. A problem arises only if a scammer uses your ID to send a fraudulent “Collect Request” and convinces you to enter your secret UPI PIN on your device to approve what you believe is a payment you are receiving. Never enter your PIN to receive money.
