Is there any charges for UPI transaction?

For individuals, personal bank-to-bank UPI transactions are generally free of charge, as defined by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). There are no extra UPI transaction charges for personal payments. However, UPI transaction charges apply to digital wallet-based merchant payments above Rs. 2,000, which are typically paid by the merchants and not the customers.
