UPI

Is there a limit to free UPI?

Most personal Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions, such as bank-to-bank transfers, remain free of charge. However, there are limits on the amount that can be transferred daily, which is generally set at ₹1,00,000 for standard transactions. An interchange fee of 1.1% may apply to merchant payments exceeding ₹2,000 when using Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPIs), but customers are not liable for this charge; merchants must pay it.
