Is RBI going to charge for UPI?

No, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is not currently planning to charge users for UPI transactions. RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra stated that UPI transactions will continue to remain free for users under the present policy. While the operational costs are subsidized, there is no existing proposal to levy any charge on users for these transactions.
