How to verify a UPI ID in Paytm?

To verify a UPI ID in Paytm, open the app and select the Scan and Pay or To Mobile or UPI option. Enter the recipient's UPI ID or VPA in the search bar. The app will automatically fetch and display the registered name associated with that ID from the NPCI database. Cross-check this name with your intended recipient to ensure accuracy. For added security, you can send a small test amount like 1 Rupee to confirm the account is active before proceeding with a larger transaction.
