How to register a mobile number in UPI?

To register your mobile number for UPI, ensure the number is already linked to your bank account and active on your device. Follow these steps:

• Download and open a UPI-enabled application.
• Select your preferred language and allow the app to send a verification SMS from your registered mobile number.
• Once the mobile number is verified by the system, select your bank from the provided list.
• The app will automatically fetch your account details linked to that number.
• Set up a unique UPI ID and a secure UPI PIN using your debit card details to complete the registration.
