How to pay through digital e-rupee?

To pay using the digital e-rupee (e₹), you need to use an e₹ wallet offered by participating banks or non-banks. After downloading the e₹ app and registering, you can load e₹ currency onto the digital wallet on your mobile device. You can then use the e₹ to make person-to-person payments or person-to-merchant payments by scanning either the CBDC QR code or the UPI QR code at the merchant location (RBI, HDFC Bank).
