How to get a UPI account number?

A UPI account number is essentially your UPI ID or Virtual Payment Address (VPA). It is a unique identifier linked to your bank account that allows you to make transactions without sharing sensitive bank details. To get your UPI ID:

• Download a UPI-enabled mobile application and link your bank account using your registered mobile number.
• The app will automatically generate a default UPI ID, typically in the format 'yourname@bankhandle'.
• You can find this ID in the profile or payment settings section of your application.
