How to Create UPI Account
- Download the Paytm App: Install from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Register with Your Mobile Number: Open the app, enter your mobile number, and verify it using the OTP sent to your number.
- Link Your Bank Account: Select your bank from the list and ensure it matches the mobile number registered with your bank. Your bank account details will be fetched automatically.
- Set Up a UPI PIN: If it's your first time linking the bank, you'll be prompted to set up a UPI PIN. You can do this using your debit card details or Aadhaar-based OTP verification.
- Create a Personalized UPI ID: Go to 'UPI & Payment Settings' in the app. Tap 'Manage UPI ID' and choose a personalized ID like yourname@ptaxis or yourname@ptsbi. Confirm and activate it as your primary UPI ID.
