How to create a UPI number?

To create a UPI number, follow these steps in your UPI enabled application:

• Open the app and navigate to the payment settings or profile section.
• Select the bank account you want to link with a UPI number.
• Choose the option to create a UPI number.
• Select your registered mobile number or a custom 8 to 9 digit numeric ID.
• Verify and confirm the selection to link it to your existing UPI ID.

This allows you to receive money from any UPI app using just your numeric identifier.
