How to create a UPI ID without an app?

You can create and use a UPI ID without a smartphone or internet by using the NPCI-launched USSD service.

• Dial \*99\# from your bank-registered mobile number.
• Select your preferred language and enter your bank's IFSC code or name.
• Choose the bank account you wish to link.
• Enter the last six digits and expiry date of your debit card to verify your identity and set up your UPI ID.

This offline service allows you to send money, check balances, and manage your profile across most GSM operators and banks.
