How to create a FASTag UPI ID?

A FASTag UPI ID is automatically created when you link your vehicle details with an issuer bank or authorized application. You do not need to manually generate it; instead, you use a standardized format to identify your account for recharges.

• The standard format is: netc.VehicleRegistrationNumber@BankUPIHandle
• Example: If your vehicle number is MH01AA1234 and the bank is SBI, the ID is netc.mh01aa1234@sbi.
• Always verify the ID in your UPI app before completing a transaction to ensure it maps to the correct vehicle owner.
