How to authorize a UPI payment?

To authorize a UPI payment, you must enter your unique 4 or 6-digit UPI PIN within your selected UPI-enabled application. The authorization process generally follows these steps:

• Initiate the transaction by scanning a QR code, entering the payee's UPI ID, or accepting a collect request.
• Review the transaction details, including the recipient's name and the amount, to ensure accuracy.
• Enter your secure UPI PIN when prompted by the application.
• Once the PIN is validated by the bank, the funds are transferred instantly.
