How to add a UPI ID?

To add a UPI ID, follow these steps on a UPI-enabled application:

• Register using your mobile number linked to your bank account.
• Select your bank from the list provided to fetch your account details via SMS verification.
• Navigate to the profile or payment settings section and select the option to add or create a new UPI ID.
• Choose a unique virtual payment address and link it to your verified bank account.
• Set a secure UPI PIN using your debit card details to activate the ID for transactions.
