How does a UPI mandate work for recurring payments

When you create a UPI mandate, you authorize your bank to automatically debit a fixed amount at regular intervals. For example, if you subscribe to a monthly service on Paytm, the app will deduct the payment on the due date without requiring manual approval each time. You can view, pause, or cancel mandates from your UPI app at any time.
