How can I get a refund from an UPI transaction?

Most failed UPI transactions are automatically reversed within 48 hours (T+1 day), according to RBI guidelines. If the amount is not credited back, you should first raise a complaint via your UPI app or contact your bank with transaction details. You can also file a complaint with the NPCI using their toll-free number 1800-120-1740 immediately after a wrong transaction. If unresolved, escalate the issue to the RBI Ombudsman.
